JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for preparing patients for hair removal, operating the laser device and providing patients with post-treatment skincare.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Answers phone calls regarding booking or queries related to laser hair removal.
- Arranges appointments regrading laser hair removal in collaboration with central booking.
- Explains to the patient the laser hair removal procedure.
- Performs laser hair removal.
- Describes to the patient the skin after care needed after the laser hair removal.
- Calls laser hair removal patients to confirm their date and time of hair removal procedure.
- Cleans the laser hair removal equipment before and after each hair removal procedure.
- Follows up with Biomedical Engineers on maintenance work of hair removal equipment.
- Performs face cleaning and HydraFacial procedure.
- Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments and preventative measures if applicable.

Clinical Duties:
- Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of patient's health, including physical examinations, taking vital signs, and monitoring symptoms.
- Develops, implements, and updates individualized care plans based on patient assessments and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Administers medications and treatments as physicians prescribe and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions.
- Provides care for wounds, including cleaning, dressing, and monitoring for signs of infection.
- Assists physicians and other healthcare professionals during medical procedures and diagnostic tests.
- Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
- Observe and record patients' conditions, including changes in symptoms or behaviors, and report any significant changes to the medical team.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
- Conducts purposeful rounding for patients to ensure their needs are met, prevent complications, and improve overall care quality.
- Adhere to strict infection control standards, including hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Participate in infection control surveillance and reporting to help prevent facility-acquired infection.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the patient items and equipment as per Fakeeh Care policies.
- Follow established protocols for different emergencies (e.g., codes, and RRT), ensuring patient safety and effective response.
- Innovate in patient care and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintains accurate and detailed patient care records, including observations, interventions, and responses.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patient care is continuous and integrated.
Supportive Duties:
- Provides emotional support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and offering reassurance during stressful times.
- Advocates for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring that their rights are respected, and their voices are heard.
- Participates in ongoing education and training to stay current with medical practices and advancements.
- Respect diverse cultural backgrounds and incorporate patient values and beliefs into care planning.
Skills and Abilities:
Customer skills and personal service oriented. Strong understanding of aesthetic and skin care.
Experience:
2 months on the job training.
Education:
Laser hair removal certificate.
Licenses / Certifications:
License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS / DHA).
